Langgam.id — Bank Indonesia (BI) Provinsi Sumatera Barat mendorong pemerintah daerah dan Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah (TPID) untuk terus mengintensifkan operasi pasar dan Gerakan Pangan Murah (GPM) sebagai langkah menjaga stabilitas harga pangan dan mengendalikan inflasi di daerah. Langkah tersebut dinilai penting menyusul meningkatnya inflasi bulanan Sumatera Barat pada Mei 2026 yang mencapai 0,90 persen dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya. Kenaikan harga sejumlah komoditas pangan, terutama cabai merah dan bawang merah, menjadi faktor utama pendorong inflasi. Deputi Direktur Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Sumatera Barat, Andy Setyo Biwado, mengatakan operasi pasar dan Gerakan Pangan Murah perlu terus diperkuat agar masyarakat tetap memperoleh akses
